U15 RUGBY TOUR TO AYR 17th - 19th FEB A sixteen man squad are travelling to Scotland to face Wellington School (Mr. Stovell's new school) and Carrick Academy on a mini-tour of South Ayrshire during Half Term. The lads are all raring to go and completed their final preparations this week despite the last bit of snow and freezing conditions. Hopefully the weather will be a little kinder to us on the Scottish coast! The players organised an extremely successful sponsored 'bag pack' at Morrisons in Lichfield last Saturday and managed to raise just under £400 in the space of only four hours at the store. This is a fantastic achievement with half of the money going towards the tour and the other half going to St. Giles Hospice. An official presentation from all the players to St. Giles will take place at the school after half term. A big thank you to all the parents of the players who have supported the tour with some extremely generous donations and providing official Ayr tour clothing.
