VillaCameron Smith, a Year 4 pupil at Lichfield Cathedral School, recently paid a very exciting visit to watch his favourite team, Aston Villa, at their new training ground at Bodymoor Heath.

Cameron, aged 8, said, “I went to Bodymoor Heath with my dad, uncle and cousin to meet Martin O’Neil and the Villa Squad. While we watched them training, Martin O’Neill talked to us and asked who our favourite player was. I told him my favourite player was Olof Mellberg. We had a tour around the training centre and then had lunch in the players’ canteen. I collected lots of autographs and photos. I had a really exciting day and we are even going to be mentioned in a match programme. I can’t believe I met so many famous players.”
