On Friday 10th September, the Year 7 pupils will experience a fantastic day of team building activities at Chasewater. We are delighted that so many new pupils choose to join the LCS community in Year 7 and these activities will help the children get to know each other, build confidence and encourage creativity. Chasewater was created as a canal feeder reservoir in the eighteenth century and remains the largest in use in the region today. The lake is situated in Chasewater Country Park, six miles from the centre of Lichfield, and hosts many leisure opportunities including water skiing, sailing, angling and a steam railway. All the family can enjoy walking and cycling across the easy terrain. There are regular exhibitions in the Forest of Mercia Innovation Centre and craft workshops. During school holidays, visitors can enjoy crazy golf, boating and pedal go-karts. |
