Lichfield Cathedral School

I am delighted to be joining the Modern Languages Department, teaching Spanish and French, and I have been pleased by the very warm welcome I have received.

Previously, I taught languages for 11 years to pupils aged from 7 to 18. My most recent position was at Saint Martin’s School in Solihull, which I left to be a full-time mother to my two children. This post has given me the opportunity to make a welcome return to the classroom.

I am particularly pleased that Spanish is offered at the School and it is good to see pupils so enthusiastic about learning a new language. I have had fun getting to grips with technology which has moved on since I was last teaching, but I now know my way around an interactive whiteboard and enjoy creating my own materials to use on it. I look forward to contributing to the success of the School as a member of a great staff team.
