Lichfield Cathedral School

I was offered the post of teacher of Business Studies last November and began doing supply at the school almost straight away.  I thoroughly enjoyed my time doing cover work but was really looking forward to starting to teach the subjects I am passionate about. I am delighted with the way in which the pupils have embraced the subjects – they seem as excited about Business Studies and ICT as I am! I am looking forward to sharing in their success and having lots of fun learning along the way.

I have been a teacher for 10 years now having previously worked in Financial Services. Most of my teaching career was spent in a large comprehensive school in Birmingham where I was Head of Business Education. I have been a governor at a local grammar school for the last 5 years and I also support my husband in the management of his Civil Engineering business.

I truly believe in learning by experience so if there are any parents who work in or around Lichfield who would be willing for our GCSE Business Studies students to visit, I would be delighted to hear from you.
