Nativity Play Pupils at Lichfield Cathedral School have been celebrating Christmas in many wonderful and varied ways in the past couple of weeks.

From the delightful Reception Nativity at St James’ Church, Longdon, through to Year 9’s drama improvisations on the Christmas story, the whole school has been celebrating.

The Nursery department also produced a colourful and confident Nativity in the School Hall at Longdon Green and all children in Years 1 – 4 took part in a very atmospheric and moving Christingle Service in the Cathedral, in support of The Children’s Society.

And, finally, on the last day of term, all children from Years 3 – 9 joined together with staff and parents for the beautiful annual Carol Service in the Cathedral. Many pupils took part in readings; there were performances from the Junior Choir, the Senior Choir, the Girls’ Choir and the Cathedral Choristers; and there were two delightful solos, from Robin Marshall and Eleanor Day, both in Year 7, who both sang with great confidence.
