Over 50 pupils from Years 6 – 9 at Lichfield
Cathedral School took part last week in a production of ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat’ at St. Chad’s
Church in Lichfield. The girls and boys, aged from 11 – 14, performed this musical production over two nights to a very appreciative capacity audience. From the beautiful voice of Cathedral chorister, Robin Marshall, who played the lead role of Joseph, to the singing and acting skills of the 11 brothers, the entertainment was non-stop. Other notable performances came from the five Narrators, Lydia Borg, Ashton Bryan, Eleanor Day, Beth Fisher and Chloe Gerrard; all of whom are members of the Cathedral School’s Girls’ Choir and all of whom were on stage throughout the show, supported by nearly 30 dancers and members of the chorus.
Mr. Peter Allwood, Headmaster at the Cathedral School, said “This was an incredible
production, performed by a group of very talented pupils. They have all worked
incredibly hard over the past few weeks and have been very well supported by
some very committed members of staff. |
