Lichfield Cathedral School

Thanks to a very generous donation from the Friends of Lichfield Cathedral School, the School has been able to purchase eleven Cubase/Sibelius workstations to equip the new Music Technology Suite within the Music Department.

Music Technology combines creativity and current advances in computer music and digital recording to provide a comprehensive education and training for pupils with an interest in both. This will offer our students an opportunity to gain sound background knowledge and practical experience in all main areas of music technology.

They will learn the techniques associated with composition and manipulation of sound and music.With this donation the Friends have helped to put LCS at the forefront of music technology tuition within Staffordshire.
