The health advantages of providing freshly prepared, wholesome food made from good quality ingredients are immeasurable.

The catering staff at both Lichfield and Longdon Green sites succeed daily in constructing menus that are well presented and adhere fully to nutritional guidelines. All meals are cooked on site with a well balanced menu including vegetarian dishes.

For the boarders at Lichfield there are daily meals of breakfast, lunch and high tea, together with a light snack at the end of the afternoon and before going to bed. At both sites all pupils stay for lunch with a choice of hot meals and salads. Milk, sugar-free squash and biscuits are provided for the mid-morning break.

The school actively supports Fair Trade, organic products and locally grown produce, sourcing them whenever practical. All staff are employed by the School and operate under experienced managers, and all aspects of catering are independently audited by a specialist firm, Scrutiny Outsourcing.
