Choir schools reject academy switch

One of the greatest ironies in life is the relationship of birth with death. How many times do we hear that a loved-one has died and yet within a few days and in the very same family a birth has occurred. Sadness goes hand in hand with joy, darkness with light, death with life.

After a busy weekend of special services for Advent, the choristers sang live yesterday on BBC Radio 3’s Broadcast Choral Evensong.

Tickets are now on sale for Lichfield Cathedral’s Christmas Cracker concert by candlelight on Friday 19th December at 7.30pm.
