LCS is delighted to premiere a new musical, You, Me and Yesterday, by Tobias Churton and celebrity artist (and one-time modern art forger) John Myatt.
Working in the hard-hitting musical tradition of Cabaret, You, Me and Yesterday tells the astonishing, true story of the love affair between British aristocrat, artist and social rebel, Nancy Cunard, and black American jazz pianist and composer, Henry Crowder. Their relationship scandalised Paris, London and New York in the late 1920s and 1930s and served a pioneering role in Civil Rights in the USA and the British Empire.
Controversial, emotional and brilliantly entertaining, You, Me and Yesterday will premiere in the Lichfield Garrick Studio Theatre on Wednesday 30th March and Thursday 31st March at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available from the Garrick Box Office on 01543 412121 or via www.lichfieldgarrick.com
