Set in the magnificent surroundings of The Close, the school benefits from a close relationship with the Chapter of the Cathedral. Our Christian values underpin the outstanding academic opportunities available here and though faith is important to us, it is not a prerequisite for joining the school.

Whilst we hold an exceptional reputation for our provision in music, particularly our superb choirs, there is no specific type of pupil or student here. Academics, artists, athletes and the adventurous are all welcome here. Our aim is to ensure that your son or daughter leaves us at the end of their school career as a confident and articulate young person, with the capacity to lead and the ability to work as part of a team. A top flight academic university will beckon for some, whilst others will produce great art and music that will feed the soul.
